Because You Love the Redwoods

Your gift helps care for one of the most extraordinary landscapes on Earth. When you donate to Redwood Parks Conservancy, you support the protection of the world’s tallest and oldest trees, the restoration of critical wildlife habitat, and programs that connect people to the wonders of Redwood National and State Parks.

Who We Are

Redwood Parks Conservancy is the “Friends” group for Redwood National and State Parks. National and State Parks have found that they best meet their mission when people like you help Friends groups rally support, provide volunteers, and step in to fill funding gaps.

We work with the Parks to identify a challenge — and then we invite you to show your love for the Redwoods as volunteers and donors. Together, we protect these ancient forests and the countless species that call them home.

Why Friends Matter

The Grove of Titans

When the Grove of Titans was “rediscovered” and threatened by excessive use, you helped us to raise funds. The result: the grove is now protected by a new access trail and a raised boardwalk.

The Titaneers

Dozens of you joined the Titaneers as volunteers, educating visitors and maintaining the trail system. The program was successfully expanded to include Stout Grove, as well.

Howland Hill Outdoor School

When Howland Hill Outdoor School was in danger of closing, you stepped up and helped us raise funds and secure volunteers to inspire and educate the next generation of nature lovers.

A world of life supported by the forest

Your donation helps protect redwoods today and for future generations

Thousands of species from fungi, to plants, to fish, to animals make up an intricate web of life supported by the forest, its rivers and creeks, and the mighty Pacific.
