36th Annual Candlelight Walk – Quick Guide
When: Friday & Saturday, November 7 & 8, 2025 | 4–7:30 p.m.
Where: Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, 127011 Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway, Orick, CA 95555
Timed Entry Groups

Group 1: 4:00–5:30 p.m.

Group 2: 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Check-In

At the Visitor Center booth before your timed entry

Bring a printed or downloaded digital ticket

No cell service on-site – download tickets in advance
Shuttles & Parking

Parking along Newton B. Drury Parkway (approx. 2 miles from Visitor Center)

Shuttles run from parking area to Visitor Center check-in
-
Short walk from shuttle drop-off to check-in—watch for traffic
Driving Directions:

From the South (Eureka area): Take Highway 101 N to Exit #753 (Newton B. Drury Parkway). Drive north approx. 2 miles and park on the wide shoulder of the Parkway.

From the North (Crescent City area): Highway 101 S. to Exit #765 (Newton B. Drury Parkway) or Exit #753 (Newton B. Drury Parkway). If taking the 1st exit (Exit #765), make a right onto Newton B. Drury Parkway and drive approximately 8 miles. The visitor center will be on your right and you may park off to the side on the wide area of the Parkway. Please note that the 1st exit (Exit #765) to Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park may be closed due to weather. If you do encounter a closure at Exit #765, you can get off at Exit #753. From there you will drive north on the Parkway for approx. 2 miles and park off to the side on the wide area of the Parkway.

Posters with the Candlelight Walk logo as well as pins, stickers, magnets and keychains are available in the RPC Store. All proceeds support Redwood National and State Parks.
