The Candlelight Walk is a fun filled night with a ranger-guided walk through the ancient redwoods of Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park lit by 400 luminaries, storytelling by North Coast Storytellers, auctions and refreshments. Tickets: $10/person, children 12 and under are free. The event starts at 5:00 pm with appetizers and auctions; the walk starts at 6:00 pm. Following the walk, cookies and hot apple cider will be served and the auctions will continue. The event concludes at 8:00 pm.

*Please be aware the Newton B. Drury Parkway can only be accessed from the south gate on this date only (Hwy. 101, exit 753). Visitors should park vehicles south of the closure and park only in designated spaces parallel to the roadway and adjacent to Elk Prairie in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Please do not block the gate or park in lots reserved for visitor center or back country use.*
